About Us:
Kebo Valley Golf Club, one of the oldest golf courses in the United States, is seeking a motivated
and experienced Chef with Kitchen/Bar Manager experience to oversee daily operations of our food
and beverage program. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic hospitality
environment and enjoys leading a team to deliver excellent service to members and guests.
The Pub is open 7-days a week May - October, while the golf course is operating. The Pub offers
food service, bar service, and functions while fully staffed. The Pub is open five days a week
December - March while Kebo SIMs are operating. Operational hours, menu, and staff are reduced in
the winter months.
Responsibilities:
KVGC Chef
Manage daily kitchen and bar operations, ensuring high-quality food and beverage service.
Supervise, train, and schedule staff for both kitchen and bar.
Maintain inventory and place orders for food, beverages, and supplies.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and liquor regulations.
Monitor costs and implement strategies for efficiency and profitability.
Coordinate with golf operations staff for tournaments, events, and functions.
Provide a welcoming and professional atmosphere for members and guests.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in kitchen, bar, or restaurant management required.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Knowledge of food safety standards and bar service.
Ability to manage staff scheduling, ordering, and budgeting.
Customer-focused attitude with attention to detail.
ServSafe and/or TIPS certification preferred.
