Figgy's specializes in scratch comfort food & cast iron fried chicken. We are looking for a new team leader when we open back up in March.
This is a bi-weekly salaried position and hours worked weekly will vary but average is 40 hours per week, and 2 days off a week. There is an unpaid annual closing every winter for about 6 weeks where unemployment can be attained.
1 week paid time off after 6 months and to be coordinated with owner.
5 paid sick days per employed work year after 3 months.
Duties include but not limited to:
⢠Arrive at a time to ensure proper timing for the amount of work to be done
⢠Review, complete and execute prep list
⢠Check in with chef & kitchen staff about specials and/or shortages
⢠Set up line and ensure quantities for p.m. shift
⢠Execute menu ensuring efficiency, accuracy and proper temperatures
⢠Maintain and/or assign prep or cleaning projects throughout the night
⢠Maintain a clean, organized and properly sanitized kitchen
⢠Expedite tickets and orders in conjunction with window position
⢠Cut appropriate labor positions when slow
⢠Complete a.m. prep list and order any necessary products for next day
⢠Breakdown line and properly label use first items.
⢠Survey walk-in and fridge/freezer.
⢠Properly scrub down stove/range and change foil when needed.
⢠Assist with cleaning/sweeping/mopping when necessary
⢠Ensure open sign is taken down, proper lights are off, trash is taken out and all closing duties are done by other
staff
⢠Close all windows & shades. Set alarm and lock door
⢠Maintain communication with owners and staff. Informing them of any mishaps or concerns
⢠Make sure menu is executed consistently, recipes are followed and food is seasoned properly
⢠Ensure friendly customer relations
⢠Create and execute specials with attention to food cost and prep time
⢠Keep a calm, clean and productive work environment
