Caregiver needed for Alzheimer's patient at his tidy home located in the Prides corner area of Westbrook.
This 92 year old male is continent, mobile and pleasant. He wakes 4 times a night and needs to be redirected back to bed. We have openings for Friday nights starting at 4 pm until 8 am, Saturday nights hours 5 pm to 8 am.; we have openings for 4 nights per month at this time and the schedule is arranged the last week of the month for the next month.
Prior dementia caregiver experience is needed, a calm and a laid back attitude is always helpful. A certificate (PSS, CNA, etc) is optional, some meal preparation and light household work required. Excellent pay, working environment with a devoted team of 4 caregivers, two of whom have been on the team for for 3.5 years. This is a quiet, private home with the family arranging the care.
We have several mothers on staff who enjoy the quiet time away from home while earning money at the same time.
