We are a quality driven general dentistry office on Main Street in Westbrook. We have a fantastic patient base that appreciates the amazing care, the friendly environment, and the overall exceptional experience that they receive from us. This position is the face of the office and requires an excellent and cheerful attitude as well as unbridled enthusiasm. Candidate must be able to multitask effortlessly in a fast-paced and ever-changing daily environment. Must be extremely articulate, be comfortable speaking with people on the phone and in person, and interested in developing sincere and professional relationships with our patient population. The desire to excel in a professional environment and solve the problems which constantly arise in the dental profession is a must therefore superior organizational and administrative skills are necessary. Finally, the goal of leaving patients feeling as though they just received the best dental experience possiblethe kind of experience that they want to tell their friends aboutis what this candidate must strive for. Wearing a smile regardless of the circumstance is non-negotiable.
Candidate would be responsible for:
Making and confirming appointments
Greeting and checking in patients
Insuring that patient personal information is up-to-date
Presenting treatment plans and discussing financial issues
Collecting payments directly from patients, mailing bills as needed
Submitting to insurance companies for estimates and completed services
Posting to accounts
Reconciling and proving end-of-day reports
Preparing daily bank deposit
Answering phone and keeping the schedule full
Maintaining a mastery of Dentrix
Familiarity with computers and networks
Familiarity with social media
Helping to maintain a spotless office
Keeping abreast of the latest insurance and HIPPA guidelines
Responding to emails and phone messages
Assisting with other staff members as needed
This position is 3 or 4 days per week. Hours are 7am to 5pm. Days and hours will depend on the candidate and office need therefore are negotiable at this point. However, it is a full-time position with approximately 27-40 hours per week. Excellent pay.
