Unique, nature-based business seeking an efficient and enthusiastic business assistant (independent contractor) to support a growing business.
FIRST LIGHT WILDLIFE HABITATS PARTNERS WITH ECO-MINDED LANDOWNERS TO CREATE THRIVING WILDLIFE HABITATS IN THEIR BACKYARDS, GARDENS, FIELDS AND FARMS, WOODS OR CAMPUSES - AT ANY SCALE.
Tasks:
⢠client intake,
⢠basic client communication and support (via email and phone),
⢠database management,
⢠managing client care systems,
⢠organizing and scheduling appointments,
⢠invoicing,
⢠day-to-day operations, and more.
Ideal for business-savvy individuals seeking extra income on their own time or parents taking a break from their career to raise their family.
Qualifications: Proven experience supporting businesses/entrepreneurs in operations and administrative needs. Knowledge of office management systems and procedures. Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize work. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Well-organized and pro-active. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Drive, and Dropbox. Proficiency with MailChimp, SquareSpace, Acuity, and Trello preferred. Digital marketing skills are a plus!
Location: Work remotely from home or preferred location. Local, Maine-based candidates are highly encouraged to apply but work can be done from anywhere with internet!
Timing: to begin work ASAP (will overlap w/ existing assistant)
Hours: avg. minimum of 4 hrs./wk., up to 10 hrs/wk. at times during busy season (~Feb through Aug)
