Primary Duties & Responsibilities

As a first point of contact for our guests, the Front Desk Clerk provides superior customer service to all guests when checking visitors in and out of the resort, answer questions, and helps to resolve any issues.

Maintains working knowledge of the facilities, layout, programs, product lines, and reservations system.

Processes guest check-ins and check-outs.

Assists guests with resort services.

Checks to ensure visitors have departed the resort.

Supports and follows all Cove Communities and Point Sebago policy.

In advance of guests’ arrival, creates check-in packets for guests.

Keeps Front Office Manager apprised of any issues or incidents that occur and may need to be acted upon.

Mails confirmations and other mailings that are needed.

Informs guests of golf cart policies and assigns guest to a golf cart.

Dresses up in various themed-based work uniforms as requested.

All other duties as assigned.

Review and Process:

Runs and reviews reports from the reservation system on a daily basis.

Education and Experience

Must possess superior customer service skills

Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff and guests

Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Working knowledge of computerized reservations systems
