Were looking for a 16-hour per week (four 4-hour days) administrator to help keep us organized. Were a real estate development and management firm, specializing in planning and building apartments for people at the lower and middle portions of the income spectrum, and managing them once built.
Examples of duties include:
Manage agendas/travel arrangements/appointments etc. for development team
Assist company owner with miscellaneous personal projects
Support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures
Track stocks of office supplies and place orders when necessary
Light Human Resources duties including managing staff birthdays, and anniversaries
Planning company retreats and events
Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.)
Recognize and proactively manage potential problems (safety, customer, facility, etc.), including escalating to next level as necessary
Interface with facilities management
Other duties as assigned
Skill/Requirements
High school diploma or GED
Minimum 2 to 4 years of related experience
Outstanding ability to communicate with others, both oral and written
Organizations, multi-tasking; adapts easily to fast-paced environment
Excellent knowledge of MS Office and general knowledge of IT networks and troubleshooting
Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
Personable, friendly demeanor with excellent customer service approach to internal and external customers
Maintains a well-groomed, professional appearance
