Summary of Position
As the greeter at our door, the Botany host is the point person for the Botany brand, and the very first contact between customers and the Botany experience. First impressions are as important as the saying goes: This person should be really nice and enjoy being helpful. The brand values are below, and we all should keep these in mind at all times, but is especially important for the host.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Promptly and warmly greet every Botany customer at the door, helping them feel welcome
Check and scan ID’s of each customer
Ensure that state and local compliance is met at all times
Help customers understand and navigate the layout of the store
Ensure customers questions are addressed and solved promptly and efficiently
Provide exceptional customer service while acting as an ambassador for the Botany brand
Consistently maintain the organization and cleanliness of the sales floor and host area
Work effectively in a team that is dedicated to maintaining a positive and respectful work environment
Assist with restocking as necessary
Assist with floor display layout and tidiness
Assist with open and closing duties
Perform other related work as required

Competencies & Skills
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Excellent oral communication skills
Proficient computer skills
Ability to enforce state law age requirements for entry
Ability to work well in a team and take direction
Ability to critically think and problem solve
High level of integrity
Work experience in the cannabis industry, retail sales, or restaurants desirable, but not necessary
Must be at least 21 years of age
Must be able to work weekends and some holidays
Must have or be able to acquire an Office of Marijuana Policy Individual Identification Card (IIC) (This can be acquired after applying for this position and accepting a potential job offer)
