C.W. Hayden an Industrial and Marine Specialist located in Auburn, Maine, has an immediate need for an Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative. Since 1948, C.W. Hayden has served all types of industry with knowledgeable, hands on sales representation, superior customer service and accurate delivery methods. At C.W. Hayden the goal is to represent the most current products and methods available to get the job done correctly and efficiently.
The Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative is responsible for processing sales orders received across multiple channels while also providing excellent customer service to new and existing customers. This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM.
Responsibilities:
⢠Answer sales calls and provide timely and accurate information to incoming customer order inquires and product knowledge requests
⢠Create proposals and quotes
⢠Process customer orders/changes/returns according to established department policies and procedures
⢠Edit orders received for price and nomenclature
⢠Answer questions from customers or individuals on how a product operates or directs them to the person able to assist them
⢠Informs customers of unit prices, shipping dates, anticipated delays and any additional information needed by the customer
⢠Receive and research customer complaints
⢠Serve as a liaison with manufacturing, purchasing, sales and shipping on the customers behalf
⢠Specify if special labeling or handling is required by the shipping department
⢠Provide timely feedback to the company regarding service failures or customer concerns
⢠Partner with the sales team to meet and exceed customer's service expectations
⢠Assist in maintaining and monitoring electronic data established for customers
⢠Operate inventory control software, order entry and applicable spreadsheets
⢠Contact inactive customers and potential leads to initiate correspondence and provide information leading to new sales.
Requirements:
⢠High School Diploma or equivalent
⢠Customer Service experience
⢠Computer experience
⢠Ability to problem solve
⢠Self-motivated
⢠Technical and/or mechanical skill set preferred
