Snappy Small Engine Services is expanding and looking for a repair technician. Ideal candidate should have their own tools and be experienced with diagnosing and repairing a variety of different kinds of gas powered equipment.
Mobile repair service done at customers homes.
Diagnose and repair outdoor power equipment including lawnmowers, snowblowers and generators. Flexible work schedule. Pretty much a "be your own boss" situation. Minimal weekends. Vehicle provided
Must:
- be reliable
- be motivated mechanic that is able to work on all types of small engines
- be able to work unsupervised
- be able to move/handle 50 lbs or more
- have a clean driver's license
Responsibilities:
-Manage your daily repair schedule
-Coordinate service work with customer
-Meet and exceed repair goals on a daily basis
-Work neatly and responsibly at customer's homes.
-Generate sales through up selling services.
-Make decisions on necessary service and clearly communicate to customer.
-Estimate repair work and communicate to customer repairs needed
-Prepare and maintain service reports
-Complete repairs with attention to detail
-Research/Order parts needed for repair items
Education, Skill and Experience requirements:
- High school diploma / GED required
- Mechanical skills
- Good communication skills, written and verbal
- Good customer service skills
- Time management skills
- Mathematical skills
