Desktop Support Analyst

Provide technical support for POS systems (installation, configuration, troubleshooting).

Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues

Collaborate with vendors and partners to implement system updates and enhancements.

Assist with database management and security protocols related to POS systems.

Ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of all IT systems, including networks and telecommunication.

Develop and maintain technical documentation for end-users and internal teams.

Offer remote and on-site support to retail locations as needed.

Perform system backups and disaster recovery procedures.

What You Bring:

Experience in supporting and troubleshooting Point of Sale (POS) systems.

Strong understanding of networking, application, and hardware configurations.

Knowledge of retail or hospitality industry IT environments is a plus.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

Good communication skills to explain tech issues to non-techy people (and keep them calm too).

Ability to juggle multiple priorities and work independently or in a team.

Relevant certifications (CompTIA, Cisco, or similar) are a bonus.

Requirements

Proficiency in Office 365 Familiarity with RF Scanner operation is expected. Understanding of POS - Point of Sale systems is required. Competence in Microsoft Azure is a significant advantage.
