Support mission, vision, and goals of the organization, upholding and promoting company culture and vision.

Clean and service public/common areas and private Resident areas in accordance with established health, hygiene, and appearance policies and regulations (including safety and risk management) and in order of priority established by supervisor.

Follow all housekeeping protocols and procedures in dusting, polishing, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, etc.

Properly dispose of refuse, adhering to infection control standards.

Maintain equipment and supplies so as to avoid waste, damage to areas and equipment, and to prevent accidents. Keep utility rooms clean and organized.

Obtain and demonstrate knowledge of the Spark Book and Spark Lifestyle and Wellness philosophy and its inherent core values. Support and participate in the Spark Culture (e.g. assist with feedback groups, assist in new initiatives, encourage Residents and act as champions of fun).

Perform other duties as assigned. Attend in-service classes and staff meetings.

Obtain and demonstrate knowledge of the Spark Book, Spark Lifestyle and Wellness philosophy and its inherent core values. Support and participate in Spark Book Culture Initiatives (e.g. assist with feedback groups, assist in new initiatives, encourage Residents and act as champions of fun).

Ability to work with the elderly in a courteous and friendly manner, demonstrating patience and compassion. Ability to perform duties with consideration for Residents’ rights at all times and demonstrate integrity and discretion in the care of Residents and in handling their health information. Knowledge of safe and appropriate use of cleaning supplies and equipment.
