We are currently seeking one Life Navigator for York County to support a new Opioid Epidemic Workforce program for individuals impacted by the opioid epidemic with employment programming, as well as laid off workers or long-term unemployed with an interest in working in front-line occupations combating the epidemic.
As a Life Navigator, you work with individuals to utilize your professional skills to help with the kinds of issues many of us face, like unreliable transportation, alcohol and drug use, domestic violence, or not having a safe place to live. You will work with each individual as a mentor/coach to make sure they are getting the support they need to cope with life, so that they can stay focused on work when they are at work.
This is a full-time position, working out of an office in Portland, Maine, with the majority of time spent traveling to meet individuals in York County.
