Job Description

The Multimedia Supervisor is responsible for employee development such as interviewing, hiring, training, and recognition of employees. Manages the daily work flow; planning, assigning and directing of tasks. Also responsible for maintaining department goals and overall company goals including, but not limited to, quality and productivity. Requires the exercise of discretion and independent judgement. Provides professional, timely, and accurate service to all customers.

The Multimedia Supervisor is a motivator and role model to others with the ability to make strategic decisions for the team when necessary and drive successful implementations.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures resources are managed (Scheduling and allocations) and monitors activity for timely servicing of customers.
  • Ensures consistent quality service through monitoring and implementing quality control measures
  • Measures and analyzes employee performance while providing ongoing coaching, training, recognition, and development for all employees
  • Regular communication with employees to drive employee development
  • Assess customer requirements and offers accurate solutions to customer requests
  • Maintains current on job knowledge in order to assist in various team areas
  • Monitors morale to create a cohesive environment
  • Acts as a Customer Operations representative and able to make appropriate decisions for the team
  • Acts as a mentor to others
  • Leads initiatives by facilitating meetings, setting goals/timelines, communicating appropriately and measuring success
  • Acts a Sales Engineer in scoping phase of sales cycle for complex projects
  • Acts a regional subject matter expert on webcast platforms and streaming media technology
  • Performs relevant webcast billing tasks

Qualifications

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong customer service focus and continuously striving to improve the customer’s experience
  • Ability to lead and facilitate multiple projects or tasks at once
  • Manage tasks independently and as part of a team
  • Must be a self-starter with drive to succeed in a high-energy team environment
  • Ability to motivate direct reports to learn and advance
  • Computer proficient, proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Proficient at using software applications including Microsoft Office products, knowledge of HTML and Photoshop-type applications
  • Experience in web design including design, use of multi-media, and editing
  • Someone with strong leadership skills and team-oriented.
  • Ability to offer innovative and creative ideas for continuous improvement.
  • Must have a professional demeanour.
