NABET-CWA Local 31, an equal opportunity employer, is a labor union looking for a part-time entry level position of clerk. Clerk/Typist/Receptionist as defined in the current NABET-CWA /OPEIU contract. Our office is seeking an upbeat, detail oriented, self-starter with a strong work ethic. At this this time the position is a part-time position with the opportunity to grow into a full-time position in the future. The employee should be able to work 20 hours per week but who can, when required work more as needed.
The duties as described in the NABET-CWA-OPEIU contract are general office and clerical duties as assigned. The Local is looking for an individual with computer skills, Word, Excel and Outlook knowledge, bookkeeping and data entry skills.
The beginning pay is $19.88 per hour, benefits include vacation, sick leave, personal days and a 401k plan.
The NABET-CWA Local 31 Office is located at 4483-B Forbes Blvd., Lanham, MD 20706, in the BECO Office Park and has free parking.
