Customer Service Representative, Mosquito Joe

Come join the #1 Mosquito Joe team in the country! We have an Immediate Opening for a Customer Serve Representative to assist our Office Manager with customer service and inside sales. There is no cold calling required. All customer service is in response to advertising and customer inquiries.

This Applicant should be outgoing, confident, hardworking, energetic, motivated, flexible, and willing to take initiative, have good phone skills, and speak good English. Must work well with others and must be comfortable using a computer and have good technical skills. Knowledge of Outlook, Word, & Excel required.

Our busy season is from April – October. Off season is November - February. Three weeks’ vacation in off season and shorter hours to accommodate harder work during active season. No pest control background necessary, but customer service experience a plus. We will train the right person on our system. Pay commensurate with experience, with yearly Bonus available. Six Month Review & Yearly reviews.

Job Description

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) supports the business owners and the office manager, and engages with customers to provide information in response to service inquiries, concerns and requests about products and services. The CSR should have strong phone communication skills and be proficient in computer data entry in order to help retain our loyal customer base.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

• Perform tasks as assigned by the Office Manager

• Manage and execute customer sales process via phone and online sales channels

• Deal directly with customers either by telephone or email to respond to customer inquiries and resolve complaints

• Set up new customer accounts

• Direct requests and unresolved issues to Office Manager

• Keep records of customer interactions and transactions

• Maintain customer databases

• Promote Quality Customer Service

Education and Experience

• High school diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED) or equivalent

• Competent computer skills including GMail and MS Office suite (MS Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)

• Ability to type

• Knowledge of administrative procedures

• Phone sales experience preferred, not required
