The Y in Central Maryland is seeking a Site Director to lead a before & after school program at an Anne Arundel county location.
You'll make an impact through being responsible for all on-site operations to include ensuring children are actively engaged in safe and enriching activities, and communicating with key stakeholders, which include school administration, staff, and parents. The Site Director takes special care in implementing monthly BASE curriculum and providing supervisorial support to all staff and volunteers, while demonstrating Y core values - caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
Site Director requirements:
High school diploma/certificate of high school equivalence OR completed courses for credit from a college or university
3 semester hours/45 clock hours of in School Age Curriculum
3 semester hours/45 clock hours in Growth and Development
9 clock hours in Communication training or any college coursework
Proof of ADA and Medication Administration certificates
1 year of experience working under supervision in a school age environment or 800 hours of experience working in a licensed childcare center primarily with school age children
