Summary
The position will provide administrative and customer service support for the Director of Sales. This position will act at a contact for incoming leads for groups, providing contracts, processing rooming lists, detailing the groups and coordinating any onsite needs.
Responsibilities
Gather appropriate information on incoming leads for Director of Sales
Build new accounts in Reservation/Sales Systems
Assist with Rate Agreements, Rooming Lists, Reservation Links and Group Resumes
Maintain client contact once rate agreement is finalized
Coordinate with other departments for onsite weekly meetings
Assist with maintaining Social Media Channels
Participate in sales meetings
Assist with some outgoing prospecting for sales opportunities
Learn new skills in digital and field marketing
Skills
Ability to communication effectively with guests/clients
Microsoft Office; Word, Publisher, Outlook
Flexible, detail-orientated, self-motivating and organized
Hotel experience preferred but not required
