Requirements
- Those who want to serve must first take the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery, a series of tests that helps you better understand your strengths and identify which Army jobs are best for you
- Must be able pass a comprehensive medical screening exam - no outstanding illnesses, injuries, or other medical/mental conditions
- Must be able to pass a fingerprint background check
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Must at least a high school diploma or a GED
- Must be a United States Citizen or Green Card Holder
- Must be under the age of 35.
- Cannot have tatoos on hands face or neck. Some exceptions apply.
- Must be able to pass height and weight standard.
Compensation
Total compensation includes housing, medical, vision, dental, food, special pay, and vacation time.

You could earn up to $40,000 in cash bonuses just for enlisting under certain Military Occupational Specialties.
Education Benefits
In the Army, qualified students can earn full-tuition, merit-based scholarships, allowances for books and fees, plus an annual stipend for living expenses.
