Seeking Registered Dental Assistant to join our team!
We are a busy and growing dental office located in Odenton, MD. We are seeking a part-time dental assistant with at least 2 years experience.
Primary Job Duties Include:
⢠Assist with dental treatments
⢠Prepare treatment room for patient by following prescribed procedures and protocols
⢠Prepare patient for dental treatment by welcoming, comforting, seating and draping patients
⢠Provide information to patients and employees by answering questions and requests
⢠Provide instrumentation by sterilizing and delivering instruments to treatment area; positioning instruments for dentist's access, suctioning, passing instruments
⢠Take and record dental histories and patient records
⢠Prepare instruments; clean treatment areas; sterilize equipment
⢠Take impressions both traditional and digital, pour study models
⢠Order supplies
⢠Handle OHSA
⢠Front Office Support, including greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling, maintaining files, as needed
⢠Responsible for patient flow, keeping treatment rooms neat and organized

⢠Ability to multi-task, take initiative and anticipate needs of others
⢠Reliable and prompt
⢠Works well in a team
Requirements:
⢠Certified dental assistant, expanded function is a plus but not required
⢠Active Maryland x-ray license
⢠Experience taking digital x-rays
⢠Experience with back office procedures
⢠Computer skills and attention to detail is a must
⢠Experience with Dentrix is a plus but not required
