STOP DRIVING TO DC:
Small Business - looking for an Estimator with Project Management Skills with in-depth knowledge of Estimating including but not limited to estimating projects.
Applicant MUST be familiar with government construction projects, specifications, construction drawings, and procedures.
The position is Full-Time
Responsibilities & Duties
Review plans and specifications to prepare bids and proposals
Experience in Construction Estimating (Architectural, Civil, MEP)
Experience in material and labor take-offs
Review and provide Estimates for RFIs, RFPs and/or Change Orders
Identify and provide product data for clients approval
Communicate with Clients, Government & Field Personnel
Provide and track project labor and material costs
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
7-10 years in Estimating
Government/other Construction Estimating
Project Management
Product Data and Submittal Procedure
Time Management skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Programs including Excel
Excellent verbal interfacing and written Communication Skills
PMP Certification a plus
Familiar with Bar Chart Schedule or Microsoft Project Manager Construction Schedule
