Control Systems, Inc. (CSIĀ) is an established leader in the sales, installation, and service of parking access and revenue control technology. CSI is growing as a company and is looking for technicians to join its team in Maryland. The positions are full-time, well-compensated and offer benefits.

CSIs technicians are the heart of the company. They are responsible for the installation, care, maintenance, and service of CSIs complete product line. With the goal of providing the highest quality customer service, CSIs technicians work closely with the project engineering design teams and service teams to insure that the technology and products furnished by CSI meet customers needs.

Successful CSI technicians are able to:

install parking, access and revenue control networks,

service and maintain the network systems to achieve optimal performance and also

troubleshoot and resolve problems when these occur.

Because they are in the field everyday working with the technology, CSI technicians are able to advise management on the operation of the systems and on finding solutions for CSI customers.

If you have the knowledge, experience and desire to work with innovative parking, access and revenue control equipment and networks and to work as a part of team, you will be a great fit for a job as a CSI technician. You must be able to:

read and interpret equipment manuals and drawings,

diagnose and repair equipment faults<

utilize signal testers and equipment diagnostic software,

replace and maintain system components and

work efficiently and in a timely manner.

The abilities to do light carpentry and concrete work, electrical conduit work, wire pulling and terminations are necessary components of these positions. CSI also requires its technicians to operate equipment and products according to well-established established safety procedures and to treat all colleagues and customers with the utmost respect and courtesy.

To be qualified to work as a CSI technician you must have the following capabilities:

High School diploma required

A minimum of 2 years of Electrical/Electronic Technical Post High School Education

A minimum of 3 years working experience construction or electrical field

OSHA 10 or 30 certification

Ability to trace wiring diagrams

Experience with computers, networking and Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to think creatively and solve problems

Ability to follow instructions and interpret drawings , specifications and schematics

Ability to operate hand and power tools

Ability to perform on-call and overtime duties as required

Ability to lift 50 pounds

Low Voltage or Electrician License preferred

Above average administrative, organizational and planning skills

Be highly motivated and able to work independently

Valid state drivers license with a clean driving record

Able to work in outdoor environments in all weather conditions

Excellent troubleshooting skills

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
