Local marine construction company is looking for a motivated Marine Construction Crew Member to join our growing team. This is an entry-level position perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in craftsmanship, and wants to learn the marine construction trade from the ground up.
As part of our crew, you’ll help build and repair piers, bulkheads, living shorelines, stone revetments, and other shoreline protection projects throughout Anne Arundel County, the Eastern Shore, and the surrounding areas. You’ll work alongside experienced builders and operators who value safety, precision, and teamwork.
What You’ll Do:
Assist with all aspects of marine construction, including material handling, pile installation, framing, decking, and stone placement.
Operate or support operation of basic tools and light equipment under supervision (e.g., saws, drills, compactors).
Help load and unload materials, stage work areas, and maintain clean, safe job sites — both on land and from barges.
Work as part of a tight-knit crew to construct piers, bulkheads, and revetments according to plans and specifications.
Support mobilization and demobilization of barge, excavator, and shoreline equipment.
Learn the fundamentals of pile driving, shoreline stabilization, and marine carpentry from experienced foremen.
Follow safety protocols and wear PPE at all times.
What We’re Looking For:
Reliable, motivated, and willing to learn — experience is a plus, not a requirement.
Comfortable with physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform hands-on tasks daily.
Reliable transportation to job sites. Valid driver's license preferred.
Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and team-first mindset.
Prior construction, carpentry, or landscaping experience is a plus, but not required.
What We Offer:
Competitive hourly pay based on skills and experience, with overtime and bonus opportunities.
On-the-job training in marine construction, carpentry, and equipment operation.
Career advancement opportunities — grow into team lead, operator, or foreman roles.
Consistent, year-round work (weather permitting).
Company-provided PPE and safety gear.
Supportive, family-owned company culture that values quality, reliability, and communication.
