Supply Delivery Driver: Responsible for driving the Boland delivery truck (box van) for the purpose of shipping and receiving of merchandise or supplies. The driver will be responsible for loading and unloading of merchandise at each scheduled stop in accordance to the delivery invoice or client receipt, as well as obtaining required signatures from the appropriate person. Additionally, the driver is responsible for the daily transfer route between all parts stores and Boland offices. This requires reviewing of transfer paperwork, loading and unloading of supplies, parts, and interoffice mail. During downtime the driver would be required to assist the warehouse coordinator or at any of the parts store locations with activities such as receiving, stocking and staging of merchandise as well as clean-up of work spaces and other duties.
Essential Duties:
- Deliver goods to people and companies
- Determine address where packages are going
- Check for potential damage
- Loading of merchandise
- Inspect and maintain vehicle, adding fluids (such as oil) as needed
- Responsible for pulling, staging, delivering, and unloading of parts, equipment, and supplies
- Present receipts as required for deliveries and obtain required signatures
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent experience and education required
- Must have valid driver's license & acceptable driving record
- Must have previous driving and/ or delivery experience
- Detail oriented, organized, problem solver, motivated, alert, self-starter
- Approachable, prompt, adaptable to change, quick worker, stays on schedule
- Able to lift 70lbs
- Experience with HVAC or related business preferred
