City Neighbors High School is seeking Chemistry/Physics Teacher beginning in the 2019-2020 school year.
Located in northeast Baltimore City, City Neighbors High School is a public charter school serving approximately 400 students in grades 9-12, with graduation and attendance rates that are among the best in Baltimore City Schools. Our schools are committed to the vision of all children as capable, powerful, creative and worthy of the deepest respect. In addition to our pedagogical focus on project-based learning and arts integration, City Neighbors High School hosts a robust advisory model where all teachers serve as an adviser to seventeen of our students.
The ideal candidate has Chemistry and/or Physics teaching experience, a deep commitment to progressive ideals of teaching and learning at the high school level, knowledge of advisory, a commitment to the ideals of inclusion and equity, and a strong ability to work with students, parents, and teachers. All candidates must be MSDE certified.
