Description: This position is contingent upon contract award and/or funding, which is anticipated in Jan 2020.The successful candidate will work closely with the Ship & Weapon Systems program office and with the Global Sustainment (GS) Centers of Excellence to ensure logistics tasks are properly scoped, staffed, and executed, ensuring program commitments are met, and product deliveries meet contractual requirements. This specifically includes the MK 41 Vertical Launching System (VLS), and Machinery Controls and Automation systems.Position is referred to as the Logistics Project Manager (LPM) and will support the Ship & Weapon Systems submarket segment, within Small Combatant and Ship Systems, in IWSS. As the GS LPM and program integration lead, the successful candidate will report directly to the GS senior manager and be responsible for logistics product development, and provide logistics support services, for the controls and weapons system products provided by this business area.Basic Qualifications:- Experience in a lead role with a demonstrated record of success in project execution;- Program/project operations including planning, financials, subcontractor interface, and staffing requirements;- Experience with Integrated Logistics Support, product support requirements, and the 12 elements of logistics;- Familiarity with MK 41 Vertical Launching System and with machinery controls and automation systems- Experience with MS Office products, IPDE, EPDM, sharepoint, PM Compass, and GRID;- Certified Control Account Manager- Strong interpersonal skills and significant customer interface experience, with excellent verbal and written communication capabilities;- Capture experience;- Must be able to obtain & maintain a Secret level clearanceDesired Skills:- Experience with MK 41 Vertical Launching System- Experience with machinery controls and automation systems- Experience with system integration and test, and US Navy Ordinance Alterations- Experience with equipment repairs and depot operations- Experience with supply chain management- Experience with US Navy technical manuals, maintenance, and trainingBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:job.QualificationsLockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
