Piper Companies is actively recruiting for an experienced Supervisor of Quality Control to oversee the QC department for an excellent biotechnology organization, located in Baltimore, MD. This is a great opportunity for a strong, hands-on leader looking to oversee a team of QC Technicians and Analysts.
Responsibilities for the Supervisor of Quality Control include:
• Tests quality of drug samples and ensures QC samples are completed in accordance with the project timeline, as well as clinical Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
• Oversees testing of Raw Materials (RM), troubleshoots any issues pertaining to RM testing
• Analyzes current testing methodologies to implement new testing methods
Qualifications for the Supervisor of Quality Control include:
• 5+ years of experience in a QC laboratory with supervisory experience
• Background in Biotechnology, Biopharmaceutical, or Pharmaceutical industry
• Highly knowledgeable in immunoassays, ELISA testing, raw materials testing, protein assays, and general laboratory supervision
• Experience with HPLC, Endotoxin (LAL), and Microbial testing is preferred
Compensation for the Supervisor of Quality Control includes:
• Salary range: $70,000 - $75,000 annually, dependent on experience
