Full time position in a very busy catering facility - ROUGE Fine Catering. We are located just steps off the Pepper Road Light Rail stop in Hunt Valley. You must have a neat and clean appearance. Only qualified persons will be considered for this job. Pay starts at $13-$15 depending on experience but promotions are likely for qualified individuals as we are growing very rapidly!
Duties will include:
-Speaking with others using clear and professional language. Developing and maintain positive working relationships with others; supporting team to reach common goals.
-Preparation of ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food. Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients. Prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards.
-Operation of equipment including ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers. Monitoring food quality while preparing food.
-Set up and breakdown of workstation. Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment
-Following all company and safety and security policies and procedures; ensuring uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
-Ensuring adherence to quality expectations and standards.
-You must be able to stand for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift.
-Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by management team.
