Description:
We are seeking dependable and compassionate Direct Support Professionals (PRP Workers) to provide community-based, home, and office support services on a contractual basis. Contractors will deliver Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP) services in accordance with individualized treatment goals and program requirements.
This position is contractual only and does not create an employer–employee relationship. Contractors are responsible for managing their own schedules, taxes, and professional obligations.
We will provide training for qualified individuals who are committed to helping clients reach their goals. Contractors must be willing to work with clients who have mental health and/or substance use diagnoses.
Scope of Work:
Provide PRP services in community, home, and office settings.
Support clients in developing life skills, coping strategies, and community integration.
Encourage and model positive behavior, accountability, and independence.
Maintain accurate service documentation per program and regulatory standards.
Participate in all required orientation and training sessions before providing services.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred).
Prior experience working with individuals receiving mental health or substance use services is helpful but not required—training will be provided.
Must have a reliable car, a valid driver’s license with no points, and proof of active auto insurance.
Must complete all required training prior to service delivery.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to travel to client homes and community locations as needed.
Must operate strictly as an independent contractor (not an employee).
Compensation:
Contractual rate based on experience and qualifications.
