AME Home Care (Maryland RSA) is hiring a RN per diem/part time/full time for patient assessments/initial and follow up home visits and supervision of CNAs/GNAs/HHAs/CMTs.
Job Duties:
RN will be responsible for instructing caregivers/HHAs/CNAs/GNAs/CMTs on patient care including personal hygiene, medication reminders, ADLs at home, mobility, transfers, dressing , toileting, infection control, safety, and etc., RN will be responsible for monitoring patients and quality of care in their homes. RNs who are certified as delegating nurse in assisted living (a 2 day class for RNs in community college) will be able to instruct CMTs on medication administration. RNs will be expected to provide written documentation of services performed in a form of notes, plan of care, time sheet, etc.
Job Requirements:
Current active nursing license, high school diploma, X-Ray or negative PPD skin test , First Aid certificate, CPR certificate, drivers license, able to drive to patients location (Baltimore City, Baltimore County, and surrounding areas), have a minimum 2 years of RN experience preferably in home care/health.
