Type: Fulltime (40 hours / week) contract
Length: Temp-perm
Pay: $15-18/ HR
Shift/Hours: 1st, 2nd, & 3rd/Overnight
We are currently in search of skilled Manufacturing Associates for our client located in Lutherville-Timonium, MD area.
Responsibilities of a Manufacturing Associate include but not limited to:
Read and understand the Standard Operating Procedure for all machines and all areas within a Value Stream
Learn and follow standard work and quality standards for all areas within a Value Stream
Conduct Daily 5S activities within a Value Stream
Follow instructions from manufacturing team leads and operations leadership team members
Run machinery and equipment with limited support
Change over machinery and equipment, as needed
Partner with team members, and train associates, as required, in all areas within a Value Stream
Ensure safe work conditions and identify/improve environmental health and safety.
Complete an hourly scorecard
Must be able to read and write simple statements.
Able to analyze, memorize and conduct and comprehend simple mathematical tasks.
Be able to make decisions and have sound judgment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in heavy/industrial manufacturing environment
High School Diploma
Mechanical aptitude
Basic troubleshooting skills
PC skills are a plus
Able to become quality certified and self-inspect
Must be able to work holidays and/or overtime as needed
Timely and consistent attendance is a must
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, sit, stoop, bend, walk, reach, squat, kneel, push and pull for long periods of time.
Able to climb a ladder and flex the upper and lower body.
