We 1st came into this industry after getting our start with a company who built a business with values that didn't align with our own. We knew that we could bring so much more value to people by always doing the right thing. We sat down in a subway sandwich spot to discuss how we could bring that value to not only our clients but our team, we pulled out a piece of paper and pen and on the left side we began to right down all the things we loved about this industry and on the right everything we didn't like about it, including the things that were done wrong to us and others. After coming up with our business model and partnership we vowed to never do any of the things on the right side of that paper to clients or our agents Today we have grown throughout the country helping people build a legacy and protect their own.
Together We conquered the Final expense market!
In that market the sales are marketed to people aged 50 plus, to take care of their burial and any last wishes they may have. We were successful in making these sales; however looking at each of ours and our teams net incomes after lead costs, travel expenses and high charge backs we saw that we were netting only about 1/3 of our total compensation. While very successful we did not like the idea of "losing" 2/3 of our compensation, compiling that with the now over saturation of agents, due heavily to the MLM style recruiting in that industry we decided we were ready for a change.
We finally found an opportunity with no marketing/lead costs, where we get in front of an unlimited amount of prospects that really need our help. They are in one location, and they are happy to see us! Appreciation Financial is a market within the financial community. It is quite simple: we help teachers and staff of public schools with retirement options. We work with district-approved vendors and we have payroll slots that allow us to be on campus and sell retirement plans in the schools. We pay almost nothing in marketing costs and rarely, if ever, get charge backs. And we run into money! Lots of it!
Why?
Because this is a vastly under served market and most of the plans offered by others have very high fees as well as being inappropriate for the client.

- Must have a car, laptop and scanning capability
