If so, lets talk.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesAs a Lead Technical Specialist for InfoSphere Information Server (IIS) on Cloud , you will be joining a talented team of professionals with a diverse array of cloud expertise. You will provide technology direction, ensure cloud implementation compliance, and utilize technology research to innovate, integrate, and manage technology solutions on IBM Cloud. As a Technology Specialist, you will significantly contribute to identifying best-fit architectural solutions; you will collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create and implement innovative high quality solutions, participate in various pursuits focused on our clients' business needs. You will design solution recommendations for clients by applying your broad technical skills, industry knowledge and business acumen. These recommendations leverage IBM technologies, architectures, integrated solutions, hybrid cloud patterns, and other offerings to solve the client's business challenges and deliver tangible business value.What you will do:Translate abstract technical cloud infrastructure concepts into business value in deploying and maintaining IBM InfoSphere Information Server on IBM CloudCollaborate with clients and develop the right solution, with a cloud first mindset, to fit their needsServe as the as the go-to expert for IIS on cloudWork closely with client solution executives and project executives as the technical expert for IBM InfoSphere Information Server on IBM CloudDrive revenue and client satisfaction growth in a defined marketInstall, Configure, Support and maintain provisioned environments on CloudRequired Technical and Professional ExpertiseExperience working with a client facing role involving deep dive technical expertise implementing IBM InfoSphere Information ServerDemonstrated track record of supporting clients on cloud solutions10 - 15 years of architecture, design, implementation, and/or support of complex application architecturesSubject matter expertise of solutions in Data Analytics technologies and business domainsGood exposure and experience with IBM cloud technology platformExperience with designing, building and/or running programs on a cloud platform and providing managed servicesExperience in DevOps Containers and Big Data technologies in close alignment with business objectivesKnowledge of whole suiteAbility to guide and advise clients in Data Management and Governance approaches, strategies, and best practicesAble to provide solutions for implementing and using the Information Server suite to attain customers data governance goals. Responsibilities Lead and manage complex computer engineering projects or programs that may have ill-defined requirements, ambiguity, parallel tasks, multiple dependencies, high risks, and multiple interfaces; manage the design, construction, testing, and implementation of technical and functional specifications; provide technical oversight and initiate, plan, implement, and coordinate activities throughout the life of the project.
