Description: Job Description:The Marketing Director role is accountable for advancing the leading brand in the industry and running bold and creative campaigns that have recently won Cannes Lions, Effies, One Show and Clio Awards. Reporting to the vice president, Marketing and Visual Communications, this position: Strengthens the brand through integrated campaigns aligned to business and communications priorities. Leads an enterprise-wide team to develop, execute and measure precision-targeted advertising campaigns. Sets strategy to ensure the company’s brand is strong and communicated consistently and effectively in all external communications. Leads development of campaigns in the United States and international markets. Possesses strong ability to reach and business audiences with customized targeted messages. Provides strategic oversight and coordination for marketing representatives across the corporation.Key skills and responsibilities: Has ownership of the Lockheed Martin brand and serve as the person responsible for driving integrated marketing campaigns that strengthen the company’s image and industry leadership. Responsible for owning and maintaining Lockheed Martin’s relationship with its marketing agencies. Provides strategic counsel to senior executives concerning brand strength, targeted marketing and insights gleaned from advanced data analytics. Establishes and enforces standards for quality, consistency, effectiveness and brand support. Provides fiscal and oversight, meeting all budgetary requirements. Facilitates the development of policies and processes to improve marketing and brand management across all channels. Must be a strategic thinker with broad experience in communications, with demonstrated success in branding, advertising and digital marketing. Must be collaborative, detail and service oriented, have a strong teamwork philosophy and leadership skills.
