And, we want the best, most open-minded and forward-thinking professionals to help drive that mission forward.About the Education Lead RoleThe Education Lead plays a pivotal role in the design, production and evolution of several key learning programs for IBM marketers around the globe. This individual will continuously measure all programs to ensure every learning objectives is met, and will do so within the timeline and budget available.The role will collaborate with marketing leaders, internal subject matter experts from within and outside of marketing, external experts, delivery teams, partners and consultants to build truly innovative digital and in-person learning programs that develop targeted skills and behaviors among learners, and produce results within a complex, matrixed organization.Ideally, the individual in this role is skilled in adult learning principles, effective instruction approaches, needs analysis, education trends, content design and program evaluation. S/he is comfortable partnering with and advising senior leadership within marketing and across other departments reliant on marketing to drive their business outcomes. The ideal candidate thrives in a very collaborative, fast-paced environment often with competing priorities.This role will:

Consult with leaders to define learning and performance objectives aligned with their specific business goals and priorities

Design end-to-end learning programs in response to business goals, that meet individual and collective learning needs while incorporating best practice in adult learning theory, neuroscience and leadership

Shape unexpected, compelling content through independent research, and interviews, collaboration with third parties, and a variety of instructional techniques

Own the relationship with outside contractors to develop interactive and effective e-learning and related in-person programs

Work in collaboration with the marketing, design and culture and experience team members to establish a communications and marketing strategy, developing all necessary training content, onsite experiences, and pilots for roll-out and continued promotion

Maintain a balance of innovation and experimentation to continually evolve both the content and the way it is delivered

Manage the project timeline, budget and scope, estimating the level of effort for all project deliverables

Develop insights from multiple data and feedback sources to establish an iteration plan

5+ years of similar experience

Exceptional writing and storytelling skills

A track record of designing learning offerings in response to business problems

Experience with video shoots and managing multimedia content vendors

A flexible mindset with the ability to work independently and switch gears to meet the demands
