If so, lets talk.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesThe IBM Cognitive Applications team is seeking an innovative and proven operations leader to join our team in building a partner ecosystem around the next generation cloud marketplace platform. If you love working with cutting edge technologies, dynamic and high performing teams, then this is the right next step in advancing your career. Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, the Operations leader will have overall program management responsibilities tied to the launch of the platform and subsequent roll-out of key functions and features. Program management will include managing execution against the business case including revenue performance and expense budgets, development of business processes, controls and procedures and managing adherence throughout the organization. This individual is expected to have exceptional communication skills and the ability to build consensus amongst multiple partners. This role also requires a demonstrated ability to analyze complex or new situations, anticipate risks or impacts and develop solutions. The ability to individually lead projects/initiatives and influence people, including executive leadership when issues are complex is needed. A broad understanding and experience with open-source applications, containerization platforms and the cloud ecosystem landscape will help the right candidate be successful.Preferred location is an Atlanta, GA area IBM office. The position must be located at a US-based IBM site.Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Large scale or complex Project Management experience with a strong understanding of Agile Project Management methodologies and a track record of executing against business strategy
Adept at complex problem solving and collaborating with multiple disciplines including: Product, engineering, sales, marketing, finance and legal
Strong financial and business acumen with proven experience managing financial budgets
Experience successfully leading multi-functional teams as a self-motivated decision maker, anticipating risks, taking initiative and influencing others
Exceptional communication and presentation skills
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Understanding of open-source applications, containerization platforms and cloud ecosystems
Business analysis and strategy development
Experience in developing and managing operational KPI’s and metrics
PMP Certification
