Description: We are seeking a Senior Manager of Corporate Consolidation to be a key member of the corporate finance team responsible for the execution of the consolidation process and supporting Lockheed’s consolidated financial reporting functions. In addition, this role will be key to assist in researching and providing technical accounting and financial reporting guidance. Specific responsibilities include:Interact and coordinate with personnel in various corporate functional areas, business areas, and other internal/external personnel (including independent auditors) to coordinate, review, and develop financial data for public release or filing with the SEC, and provide technical accounting and financial reporting expertise;Execute monthly, quarterly and annual consolidation process in a timely manner with high precision and accuracyPrepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting packages in accordance with U.S. GAAP and other supporting management reportsSupport and coordinate the identification and gathering of financial and disclosure data necessary to fulfill the reporting and filing requirements of the SEC;Assist in the preparation, review and timely filing of required 1933 Securities Act and 1934 Securities Exchange Act filings with the SEC, including Reports on Form 8-K, 10-Q, and 10-K;Assist with the implementation of new accounting and reporting requirements by setting up new accounts and making sure the data is collected properly;Assist with maintaining and documenting compliance with internal controls over financial reporting in accordance with SOX 404 standards.Basic Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Accounting from an accredited University Minimum 10 years of experience at either a Big 4 accounting firm or a financial reporting role for a large public entity Progressive experience and responsibilities in consolidations with ledger software expertise and experienceDesired Skills: CPA license Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and U.S. SEC regulations Experience in the preparation of financial statements and accompanying footnotes and disclosures Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ledger software system expertise and experience, preferably Longview Leadership skills and the ability to lead a diverse team of resources Demonstrated problem solving ability (identify problems and develop/implement solutions) Ability to take ownership and drive projects/issues to completion Ability to work well in teams Motivated/able to grow and develop in organizationBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:job.QualificationsLockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
