There are several reporting tools that need to be aligned, consolidated, or absorb features from similar systems. Your role as junior researcher/UX person would be to execute a blend of UX research and strategy with some graphics/UX support. Responsibilities:
Conduct research and propose solutions to align and/or consolidate a suite of tools.
Produce mockups of potential build outs and flows that describe how the user will interact with the new system.
Work with end users and conduct surveys.
Embed with the development teams to execute.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in cognitive and/or experimental psychology, human factors engineering, or an engineering related field. Advanced degree in these fields is desired.
5+ years of experience years in this or related field and have familiarity with task analyses, user interface design, and usability testing.
Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.
Experience with Adobe Illustrator or Axure.
Knowledge of XD and/or Figma.
Familiarity with task analyses, user interface design, and usability testing.
Experience working closely with users (analysts) to research and document user profiles, analysis tasks, workflows, and user scenarios.
Experience working with users to collect and document user requirements and create user interface design specifications.
Experience working closely with product designers and process engineers developing applications, conducting usability testing.
Expertise designing/developing user surveys to obtain user feedback.
Nice to Haves:
HTML/CSS knowledge a bonus.
Omni channel marketing and enterprise UX experience a plus.
