Position Summary: The registered professional nurse is responsible
for delivery of patient care utilizing the nursing process: assessment,
diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and
evaluation. Directs and coordinates patient teaching and activities of
other health team personnel while maintaining standards of professional
nursing.Education: Graduate of an approved program in professional nursing
with an Associate Degree, Diploma or Baccalaureate Degree.Licensure/Certification: Registered and currently recorded with The
Maryland State Board of Examiners of Nurses.Skills: Nursing process, team leading, beginning management
functions, and certification as required for the position.Physical Demands/Work Environment: Will be reviewed during the
interview process.MAY BE REQUIRED TO WORK ADDITIONAL SHIFTS OR VARYING HOURS TO MEET THE
OPERATIONAL NEEDS OF THE DEPARTMENT.
