Advanced Connections is a telecommunications contractor operating in Queen Anne's and Talbot County, MD. Our company is responsible for large scale residential and commercial installations ranging from CATV only installs to full cable, internet (broadband) and phone.
Job Responsibilities include but not limited to:
*Install and /or repair cable TV, High-Speed Data or Digital Services inside and outside of residential homes.
*Install various customer premise equipment such as converters, cable modems, digital terminals and other cable
system devices,
*Planning installation by evaluating the job, running the necessary wires, Installing or connecting cable TV
outlets and connecting the services ordered by customer
*Communicating and educating customers on the use and function of their services
*We are seeking highly motivated candidates who are interested in pursuing a career in the Cable TV Industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
* 1 - 2 years Cable TV or Satellite experience preferred but not necessary. Sign on bonus available depending on
experience and longevity
* The right candidate will need to be self motivated and have strong work ethic
* Must be available to work at weekends
* Mechanically inclined to be able to work with hand/power tools and have the ability to troubleshoot and *
problem solve
* Must have the ability to lift 80 pounds as well as carry and climb a 28 ' extension ladder.
* Candidate must be all to work in small and High areas and in all weather conditions
* Candidates must have valid drivers license, with clean record, and be able to pass background check.
