Traffic Control - FULL TIME Flagger - Eastern Shore ONLY
Preferred Education, Experience, and Certifications:
-High School Diploma or G.E.D. or equivalent combination of education and experience.
-Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, MVR check, criminal background check and
post-offer physical agility exam and post-offer random drug screens.
-Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds
-Have clean background and able to get on all military bases
-MUST live on Eastern Shore
-NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE NEEDED!

Role and Responsibilities:
-Controls movement of vehicular traffic on active roadways using signage and hand signals.
-Install various types of traffic control devices including signs, 4x4 & 6x6 wood post, &
permanent signs.
-Set-up traffic control closures on roadways according to the Work Area Protection Manual.
-Maintain a high level of safety at all times while working in the street as well as in the yard.
Other Important Duties:
Must work overtime as required.
May be required to work weekends, after hours and special events.
Maintain access to ports, bases and other limited access facilities
Travels to job sites and to attend meetings, conferences and training.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Regular and consistent attendance for the assigned work hours is essential.
