An established disaster restoration company is seeking a Clams Coordinator to join the team.

The Claims Coordinator works with the production teams helping to coordinate projects from call date to job completion. Duties include completing intake of claims, monitoring emails from adjusters on program claims, assisting in maintaining timely communication with homeowners, providing administrative assistance to the estimating team for project estimates and program requirements and monitoring job flow with regular reporting to management. All efforts are focused on moving the claim forward through the process with urgency and accuracy, from start to finish.

Claims Coordinator handles the claim from the initial phone call until the claim is turned over to A/R for collection.

Ensure all the accurate information on the claim; correct addresses, phone numbers, insurance company information, cause of loss, etc.

Provide A/R with timely information in order to invoice and collect draws.

Enter work authorizations and contract dates

Ensure that inspections are scheduled within the program guidelines.

Ensure that estimates are uploaded timely.

See that notes from adjusters and homeowners are responded to timely.

Ensure that repairs are started on time and help keep the customer informed during the entire process.

Track change orders, supplements and settlements, as necessary.

Respond to team information requests as needed and within promised time frames.

Complete weekly Production Meeting reports by noon on Tuesday every week.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

-Past experience in construction industry or trade, specifically with scheduling

-Ability to multi-task

-Consistent

-Result oriented

-Good time management skills

-Compassionate, empathetic, sensitive to other's situation/feelings

Ability to efficiently dispatch/relay pertinent information- short, sweet, to the point, make sure they have what they need

Strong computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite, excellent typing skills

QuickBooks Experience a Must

Previous Administrative or Insurance related experience a plus
