We are looking for the right individual to work with a growing wireless internet service provider (WISP).
This individual would be responsible for installing new customers and servicing existing customers.
A typical install involves location a wireless signal from the roof of a house or business and at times creatively finding a pole mount location where signal can be attained.
The Installation technician is responsible for mounting the antenna to the roof or pole and running a low voltage data line from that location to the customer's preferred location or at times the only location available due to length limitations of the cable.
Our coverage area is from Perryville to Salisbury and it is frequent to drive quite a bit on a daily basis.
Construction background coupled with basic networking skills such as terminating data cables, setting up a wireless router are key to this.
The position involves utilizing a ladder and safely navigating the roof's of customer locations 2-4 times per day.
This is a Monday-Friday position and can be salary or hourly with weekly overtime possibilities. Typically the work week is 45-55 hours. Promptness, cleanliness, organization and ability to work unsupervised are key.
