We are seeking an experienced, career-oriented individual with exceptional leadership skills to join our team as a Low voltage Systems Sales Representative in our Eastern Shore office!
Core Accountabilities include: Ability to sell our commercial, integrated low voltage systems solutions throughout MD's Eastern Shore and Delaware. Our offerings include communication infrastructure (voice, video, and data), fire, sound, security, access control, and CCTV. This person works hand in hand with the customer to give them the best possible solution for their immediate needs, and for their future needs. Maintain the ARK mission statement, goals, and values, as a standard of performance and conduct at all times.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Qualified candidates must have prior experience in selling Low voltage Commercial systems.
Maintains and archives proposals and bids for future actions.
Attends site surveys to determine what is necessary to sell and install a job.
Assists customers on technical and installation issues.
Maintains solid working relationship with established accounts.
Skills and Abilities Required:
A familiarity with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the low voltage product lines and construction. A strong technical background through electronics and communication training is a plus.
Ability to use Microsoft Office is a must.
Knowledge of installation practices and construction procedures a plus.
Knowledge of State, Local, and Industry standards involving low voltage wiring, Fire Alarm Sprinkler, and device installation.
Must have valid Driver's license and transportation. Ability to obtain Maryland Security Systems Sales, and VA DCJS licenses required.
Site surveys and job site inspections will require a degree of mobility.
Must have a positive and respectful attitude to maintain good working relationships with management staff, employees, vendors and customers.
Must be able to work in a high volume/fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks. Must demonstrate flexible and efficient time management and the ability to prioritize workload.
Education and Experience Required:
Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Experience in the following industries a plus: Sound, Low Voltage Wiring, Fire-Alarm, Life Safety, Construction or Electrical background. Must have a strong outside sales background.
