Position OverviewThe Atlassian Consultant provides Atlassian consulting, toolset process design and implementation as well as training and go-live support for RightStar customers. For this role you must be an experienced Atlassian Tool Administrator with DevOps experience. You must be passionate about Agile methodologies, learning, automating, and working in a highly collaborative environment. The consultant must also embody the Agile principles and lead by example. We are currently looking for a 12-month onsite position located at Ft. Meade, MD. As this is a mid-level position, we will provide training and Atlassian certification. Essential Job Functions
Administrative knowledge of Atlassian products: Jira, Jira Service Desk, Bitbucket, Bamboo, and Confluence.
Understanding of the current Atlassian tools and DevOps processes and software development lifecycle. Ability to gather requirements, propose potential solutions, analyze impact, communicate with stakeholders, and implement toolset solutions.
Knowledge of Agile Development and ITSM/ITIL processes.
Knowledge of test and QA automation frameworks.
Use tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Jira, Confluence, and Git to improve and speed delivery of products and services.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to collaborate with people across widely varying levels and roles.
Updates product knowledge by participating in regular on-line training.
Maintains excellent vendor relationships.
Interview Process: 30 minute with VP of Practice, I hour internal Tech, Client 1 hour
