The candidate will enjoy a fast-paced team environment, working on cutting edge technology, and be a self-starter. The candidate for this position would have familiarity in at least one of these disciplines: traditional forensics, mobile forensics, reverse engineering, IoT devices, network packet capture and analysis, Cloud forensics.Responsibilities include:
Reverse engineer mobile and embedded devices
Develop forensic tools
Research vulnerabilities for exploitation purposes
Support to outward-reaching sponsors
Develop prototypes based on research
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
At least 8 years of successful experience
Secret Level Clearance Required
Other Qualifications:
Focus on IoT devices
Strong familiarity with ARM platforms such as Android and/or iOS
Strong familiarity with network forensics, pcap analysis
Strong familiarity with Linux
Strong familiarity with reverse engineering obfuscated or binary files
Familiarity with database systems (e.g., MySQL, Postgres, SQLite)
Proficient in prototyping using Python
Familiarity with Android internals, Linux kernel, and/or iOS internals
Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel and Word
Must have demonstrated proficiency and strength in verbal, written, PC, presentation, and communications skills
Ability to possess and maintain Secret Clearance level
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related technical field of study
8-10 years previous experience preferred
Existing Secret Clearance
Familiarity with operational digital forensic concepts and objectives.
Familiarity with mobile app programming languages and scripting tools. (e.g., Java, Objective-C, Swift, Python, C, C, Go)
Familiarity with Reverse Engineering concepts
Ability to work independently to learn new technologies, languages, platforms, etc.
