The Materials Lab Technician will perform lab testing on asphalt mix and cores, soils and aggregate, and concrete cylinders in Frederick or Hanover, Maryland. Previous experience with testing of some or all of these materials is required. Ability to lift up to 60 pound, and to work well with others in a team environment. Must be able to stand up to 8 hours a day.
An ideal candidate will be reliable, have an attention to detail and accuracy in reporting. Candidates with good math and science skills are desired. Background/ education in geology or Civil Engineering is a plus but not required.
Positions are available for entry level and experienced candidates.
