We are seeking to hire a residential architectural draftsman for a full-time position in Gaithersburg, MD. Our firm specializes in the design/build of high end residential additions, renovations and remodeling.
Roles and responsibilities include:
Develop and execute project designs from as-built to permit drawings
Layout basic millwork/cabinetry concept drawings
Manage multiple projects from beginning to end
Assisting senior architectural draftsman with a variety of tasks, including site visits and measuring, as-built drawings and design mark-ups
Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum of (3) years relevant architectural drafting experience
Proficient in AutoCAD
Possess technical / drafting expertise
Basic Knowledge of Building Code (IRC)
Ability to work independently and with a team
Strong communication skills
Takes initiative
Cabinet Vision Software not required but a plus
