Seeking a responsible female caregiver/companion for my mom in private home in Mt. Airy, MD. She is a sweet 76 young lady who had a stroke and has early stages of dementia. Her overall physical health is fine (no use of her right arm) but struggles with speech.
Part-time approx. 20+ hrs/week. Mon-Thur - 1:00/1:30 PM - 5:00 PM, Fridays (every other) 8:00pm-5:00pm
Some healthcare experience is preferred, but not required.
Afternoon duties: watching TV, coloring, joy rides, walking, making her laugh, light snack, most importantly be attentive and patient.
Morning-noon duties: bathing, dressing, meals, medications, clean/maintain areas used, and all of the above.
Since she can not communicate well, 2 way conversation is difficult but she does enjoy someone talking to her.
Should have reliable transportation and prompt arrival
