Hillis-Carnes Engineering Associates, Inc. is an Employee-Owned, Multi-Discipline Design Build Engineering firm that is currently seeking Geotechnical Drill Helpers and Construction Laborers. These positions will be based out of the Woodbine, MD location.
Drillers:
Ideal candidates should have prior experience operating and maintaining drill rigs; collecting geotechnical samples and data using auger-drilling, mud-rotary, and coring techniques; and creating and maintaining reports and logs or drilling activities.
Drill Helpers: SIGN-ON AND RETENTION BONUS
Ideal candidates should have prior experience working around geotechnical drills, in-situ testing and direct push equipment. They should also be familiar with exploratory drilling including hollow stem auger drilling, standard penetration testing and environmental sampling procedures. Projects will be primarily located in MD with the possibility of work in other states. Candidate must be dependable, hardworking, honest, and motivated. Willing to train the right person.
Construction Laborers: SIGN-ON AND RETENTION BONUS
Ideal candidates should have prior experience working with concrete/equipment. Air tracks, geotechnical drills, and grouting equipment experience is a plus.
Job Requirements
Must be able work out of town when needed
Class A or B CDL is a plus
Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 lbs.
Must have good driving record
Strong work ethic/team player attitude
Be able to pass background check and drug screening
